Rapid Cognitive Therapy Book
Rapid Cognitive Therapy
by Georges Phillips and Terence Watts

What this is not is a book about Cognitive Behavioural therapy! What it is is a book of rapid change techniques for the professional therapist, using various methodologies including NLP, imagery, personality-related work, analytical techniques, symbolism... and, of course, hypnosis in various forms.

The authors have pooled their extensive knowledge to produce a volume which is required reading on several hypnosis/hypnotherapy training course, both in the UK and in the USA; considered by many to be a therapist's 'bible' it really is a must have!

It's available from this site or from The Anglo American Book Company

Foreword by Professor VM Matthew, Consultant Psychiatrist and President of the British Medical Hypnotherapy Examination Board.  He says:

"Rapid Cognitive Therapy provides a new psychotherapeutic approach whereby effective and positive changes can be brought about within a very short period."

Preface by Vera Peiffer BA (Psychology) Author of Positive Thinking.  She says:

"Rapid Cognitive Therapy" is an approach which is entirely respectful towards the client’s fears and anxieties he or she brings into therapy. Phillips’ and Watts’ approach has integrity and helps the client to actively confront difficult issues in a safe way so that the client can be successful in removing the stumbling blocks that are obstructing personal development.
